EVENT SUMMARY

There are over 424,000 foster children spread out across America, with 2000+ in the greater Seattle area alone. These stats are sobering especially when we know that if every church in America were to adopt one foster child, the foster care crisis would be resolved.

God calls us to “look after orphans in their distress”, yet we recognize that not everyone is equipped to be a foster parent. That’s okay! The good news is that everyone can support a foster child in one way or the other.

Even tasks such as providing a meal, or child care to a new foster family really do make all the difference in elongating their ability to care for these vulnerable children.

This is where you could help! After the successful launch of our first foster care support team we are in the process of building out a second! These ‘care communities’ allow foster parents to foster children longer and stronger, and anyone can participate!

If you’re interested in learning more about this ministry opportunity at Sideris, or maybe potentially becoming a foster parent one day, join us for this invaluable information session.

Your attendance doesn’t mean you are “signing yourself up” it just simply means that you are curious to find out more!
