Mukee & Lina Chung

Where are you from & how long have you been in Seattle? Lina was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, and has been living in Seattle since 2007 when she attended college at UW. Mukee was born in Seoul, South Korea. My family moved to Seattle when I was 10 years old and I have been living here since then.

How did Sideris become home for you? After some time in the spiritual wilderness, Lina and I decided it was time to consider Jesus. We tried a few different churches and landed at Sideris where we felt welcomed and easily connected.

Why is considering in community important? "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." - Hebrews 10:23-25

What is your favorite restaurant or coffee shop in your neighborhood? We live on Mercer Island, but in South Seattle, we like Tammy's Deli & Bakery.
