Grace & Jeremy Chan

Where are you from & how long have you been in Seattle? Grace grew up in Indiana, and Jeremy was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Melbourne, Australia. Grace and Jeremy were living in Dallas, TX before moving to Seattle in 2023. 

How did Sideris become home for you? When we moved to Seattle, we visited several churches in the area. We found Sideris online (thanks Google Maps!) and after visiting a few times, felt really connected to the people we met, the teaching, and experiencing first-hand how much Dave and Ryan as pastors wanted to know us and be known. Getting to know people in our cohort was instrumental in Sideris feeling like “home” for us. 

Why is considering in community important? We all bring perspectives, experiences, and contexts unique to the life that God has placed each of us in. By considering together as a community, we encourage and challenge one another as we strengthen the bonds of being spiritual family.

What is your favorite restaurant or coffee shop in your neighborhood?
Grace: Sodam Korean Fried Chicken, Kiki Bakery, Aroy Mak
Jeremy: anywhere north of the border in Richmond, BC :)
